The PS series foam fire hydrant is one of the important devices in the foam fire extinguishing system. It is especially suitable for the production, storage and use of large areas of flammable liquids and combustible liquids with fire hazards.

Working Principle

The foam fire hydrant is mainly composed of flange, cylinder, ball valve, internal connection, fire hose teeth and end cover. It is distributed and installed in preset positions in the protection zone, the flange is connected with the liquid supply pipeline, the ball valve is usually closed, and the end cover is covered. When a fire occurs, first unscrew the end cover, then connect the fire hose, and then open the ball valve to deliver the foam to the foam generator. The foam fire hydrant must be used within the specified pressure range.
