System Composition And Working Principle
The closed foam-water spray system mainly consists of a fire pump set, a liquid supply device, a pressure-type proportional mixing device, an alarm valve device, a water flow indicator, a closed sprinkler, valves, pipes and accessories.
The working principle of the closed foam-water spray system (see figure): When the wet alarm valve is in the servo state, the whole system is filled with water at working pressure. Due to the function of the fixed ratio pressure reducing valve, the foam liquid storage tank provides The pressure of the foaming liquid is lower than the water pressure in the main network. At this time, the foaming liquid can fill the entire foaming liquid delivery pipeline to the entrance of the foaming proportional mixer, and due to the isolation effect of the one-way valve at the inlet of the mixer, The water in the pipe network cannot flow back into the foaming liquid pipeline. When the closed sprinkler in the protection zone explodes due to fire, the pressure on the wet alarm valve system side drops, the alarm valve opens, and the water flowing from the alarm port passes through the retarder and drives the hydraulic alarm to report glimpses. At the same time, the water flow opens the dual-purpose control valve (foaming liquid control valve) through the control pipeline, short-circuiting the pressure reducing valve, and the pressure in the foaming liquid storage tank rises, so that the pressure of the foaming liquid rises to the pressure in the main pipe. In the same way, the foam ratio mixing device flows to the nozzle according to a certain mixing ratio, and extinguishes the fire through the blasted nozzle.
